From furnitures that are meant to be used to theoretical or contemplative objects and typography, this seventh book, produced in collaboration with Martin Szekely, shows the initial training of its author through a series of photographs taken by Fabrice Gousset. This volume includes the designer’s latests five completed projects: Moon Wood (2016) / The Drawers and I (2017-2018) / Matière lente (2020-2021) / Martin et Pierre (2020) / Opus (2016). Each project stands out through its purpose and use, its natural or composite material, its monolithic or modular constitution and its scale.

Moon Wood, The Drawers and I, Matière Lente, Martin et Pierre, Opus is the seventh book published by B42 on the work of Martin Szekely. As part of this series, which began in 2017, Éditions B42 has partnered with the French designer to give an exhaustive look at his work, through text and images. Each book focuses on a piece, a series of pieces or an exhibition and analyses the designer’s production.
