NE PLUS DESSINER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Martin Szekely declared in 1996 that his work would henceforth be guided by the mantra \u201cdraw no more\u201d, a principle of creation and procedure to which the designer remains faithful up until today.<br \/>\nThe book <em>Ne plus dessiner<\/em> is published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, from October 12, 2011 to January 2, 2012. Through the different texts and projects (those presented in the show), it returns to the foundations of this singular approach and enables to show the effects on his works of the past fifteen years.<br \/>\nEach project \u2013 from the limited-edition pieces of furniture and objects to industrial designs and products \u2013 comes with a text written by the designer himself and Fran\u00e7oise Guichon, curator and head of the Design Department of the Mus\u00e9e national d\u2019art moderne \u2013 Centre Pompidou.<\/p>\n<p>The book ends with a brief essay by art theorist Philippe-Alain Michaud, curator of the Film Collection of the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019art moderne \u2013 Centre Pompidou, introducing Mark Lewis\u2019 film, <em>Black Mirror<\/em> at the National Gallery, created specially for this exhibition.
