Marie-Sylvie Poli is a Professor in Information and Communication Sciences at the University of Avignon, and a researcher in the Norbert Elias Center(CNE), Équipe Culture et Communication (UMR 8562). She teaches museology focusing on semiology and sociology approches. Exhibitions which raise the debate on and about public spaces are on is main topic of interest. She is co-directing SFR Agorantic gathering researchers in computing, social and humain sciences into the program: ‘Culture, Patrimoines, Sociétés numériques’.
