Trained as an architect, Kester Rattenburry is an author and architecture critic. She teaches at the University of Westminster where she set up EXP, the Research Centre for Experimental Practice in 2003. EXP’s inventive projects include the Archigram Archival Project, making the full range of the work of Archigram available online. She directed the publication This is Not Architecture (Routledge 2002), took part in Architects Today (London, Laurence King, 2004), directed the Supercrits series with Samantha Hardingham and wrote numerous articles about architectural culture. Another Country : The Architecture of the Novel is one of her current research projects.
